While we've all been staying at home, taking care of ourselves and each other, we decided to make the best use of our time experimenting with some new recipes using familiar ingredients in your kitchen pantry.
// BLACK BULLET //
4-5 pieces of clove
3-4 black peppercorns
Half a stick of cinnamon
1 teaspoon full leaf black tea
1 and half cups of water
*Add four-five pieces of clove, three black peppercorns and half a stick of cinnamon to boil in a pan with one and a half cups of water
*Simmer for two minutes and add a teaspoon of full leaf black tea.
*Brew for two minutes, strain and add a teaspoon of honey to sweeten.
// GREEN STEAM //
3-4 leaves of Tulsi
1 quarter knob of ginger
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon full leaf green tea
1 and a half cups of water
*Add three-four leaves of Tulsi, a quarter knob of ginger, a teaspoon of turmeric thrown into a pan with one and a half cups of water.
*Bring to boil, simmer for two minutes and add a teaspoon of full leaf green tea.
*Brew for two minutes, strain and serve with a teaspoon of honey.
*Lightly roast cinnamon, fennel, cloves, black peppercorns and cardamom pods on a slow flame, once cooled, transfer them to a grinder
*Add dried ginger and turmeric with a dry spoon and mix
*Store it in an airtight jar and add a teaspoon to your next cup of tea.
