Follow the recipe for Shortbread NYC&#8217;s Orange Marmalade Scones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><i>Ingredients<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* <\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 1\/2 cups all purpose flour<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* <\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3 Tablespoons sugar, divided<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* <\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 1\/2 teaspoons baking powder<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* <\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 teaspoons orange zest<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* <\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1\/3 cup cold butter, cut in small cubes<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* <\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1\/2 cup orange marmalade plus 2 Tablespoons for glaze<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* <\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1\/4 cup milk<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* <\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 egg<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><i>Instructions<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Prepare baking sheet with parchment or silicone baking mat.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and orange peel. Cut the butter to the size of small peas.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Fold in 1\/2 cup marmalade, milk and egg. Stir gently until dough forms.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Empty the dough out and knead until it comes together in a smooth ball. Pat the dough into a round circle and cut into wedges and pull apart to separate slightly. Alternatively use a biscuit or cookie cutter to cut 2 1\/2 inch rounds.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Sprinkle the remaining Tablespoon of sugar then bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Serving<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remove scones from the oven and brush the warm scones with the remaining marmalade.
